OUSD Contract Negotiations- OTA

Today OTA and District bargaining teams met for the fifth time to negotiate the terms of the Collective Bargaining Agreement (CBA) 2023-2024. The discussions have been productive. At this meeting:

• OTA shared proposal #2 with the District. The bargaining teams reviewed all open articles and shared perspectives. 
• The District and OTA continued to discuss salary compensation and benefits. 
• The District has an interest in maintaining a positive budget and fiscal stability.
• The District is required to meet its financial obligations for the current year and the next two years as indicated in the Multi-year Projection (MYP).

The next negotiation session is scheduled for November 16, 2023.

Hoy los equipos de negociaciones de la OTA y el Distrito se reunieron por quinta vez para negociar los términos del Acuerdo de negociación colectiva de 2023-2024. Las discusiones han sido productivas. En esta reunión:

• La OTA presentó su propuesta no. 2 al Distrito. Los equipos de negociaciones repasaron todos los artículos abiertos y dieron sus perspectivas.
• El Distrito y la OTA siguieron discutiendo la compensación salarial y las prestaciones.
• El Distrito tiene interés en mantener un presupuesto positivo y la estabilidad fiscal.
• Al Distrito se le requiere cumplir sus obligaciones financieras del año en curso y los siguientes dos años como está indicado en la Proyección de varios años.

La próxima reunión está programada para el 16 de noviembre de 2023.
