Parent Advisory Committees DPAC
The District Parent Advisory Committee advises the Board of Education on family engagement activities and policies, improving actions and services for students in the district, and the Local Control and Accountability Plan (LCAP).
All meetings are held on Tuesdays from 6:00 p.m. to 7:30 p.m. in the Educational Support Services (ESS) Conference Room (2080 Mission Ave.). All meetings will be held in person with an option to participate virtually via Zoom. Simultaneous Spanish interpretation and childcare will be available. Agendas will be posted the week prior to each meeting.

District English Learner Advisory Committee (DELAC)
The District English Learner Parent Advisory Committee advises the Board of Education regarding the program and services for English Learners, the district's needs assessment for English Learners, the annual language census, reclassification criteria, and the LCAP. All meetings are held on Tuesday evenings from 6:00-7:30 in the Educational Support Services (ESS) Conference Room (2080 Mission Ave.). All meetings will be held in person with an option to participate virtually via Zoom. Meetings will be conducted in Spanish and English. Childcare will be provided. Agendas will be made available a week prior to the meeting.

Caregiver Connection formerly Parent Guardian Partner Panel: PGPP
The Parent Guardian Partner Panel is a monthly opportunity to delve deep into learning about specific topics related to Special Education. All parents are welcome to attend and sessions are conducted in English and Spanish. Some topics explored are Student Reentry, Procedural safeguards, Behavior Support, Assistive Technology strategies, IEP Documents, Parent Resources and summer activities. All meetings are offered virtually from 10:00-11:00 am and again from 5:00-6:00pm. Check back for links and topics to be addressed. For more information, contact 760-966-7882.

Preschool Parent Advisory Committee
Preschool Parents at North Terrace and Santa Margarita Schools. Meetings are held on a regular basis. The purpose is to advise families on the resources related to services for families and children, and to provide input on the planning, development and evaluation of the program. LCAP COMMITTEE
The LCAP Committee is comprised of classified and certificated staff, parents, and district leaders. The committee regularly meets throughout the school year to plan stakeholder engagement, analyze data and stakeholder input, and review LCAP goals, action, and services. Site Level Involvement
Parents, guardians and care givers are also encouraged to get involved at the school site level through PTA/PTSO, School Site Council, Principal Coffee Talks, Back to School Nights, and more. Contact your school to find out more about ways you can get involved and support your child's education.
