  • WHAT IS ART ENRICHMENT?

    We are excited to be the first school in the district to offer art enrichment. 

    Every class K-5 gets one hour of art each week. The students learn art standards and about famous artists using a variety of media such as oil pastels, paints, foil, chalk, clay, string, and much more!

     
  • PURPOSE

    The purpose of this time is two-fold! One, it gives every student an opportunity to learn visual arts and creatively express themselves while being empowered with Growth Mindsets as artists. 

    It also allows the class teacher to pull small groups of intensive intervention (like tutoring) to meet students' academic needs.
