Hi, I’m Ms. Steiner and I’m the advisor for the Comic Arts Club.  This past year we did some mask and rock painting, drawing art (by hand and computer programs), played table-top games, board games and went on a field trip to Comic Con Museum.  This year we are meeting before school, Monday-Friday, 8:00-8:30 am in room 10.  We have been exploring the art of Anime.

Please email me at patricia.steiner@oside.us if you have any questions.

Hi there, I’m Mrs. Carterette. Are you hoping to graduate early? I am the Credit Recovery teacher, and this is the place to be. My class is to offer you extra classes over and above those you are scheduled in. You can take almost any class through Credit Recovery. I can also use this time to offer help in any other class that you may be taking.  We meet in room 2 every Monday, Tuesday, and Thursday immediately after school.

You can contact me through email @miki.carterette@oside.us .

This program is available to students currently attending Surfside High School.  Speak with Mr. Gomez to see if this is an option for you.  You can contact Mr. Gomez via email at mike.gomez@oside.us.

Hi I'm Ms. Steiner and I will be helping you earn credit while you are working.  That's right, if you currently have a job working 10+ hours a week, earning at least minimum wage and are looking for elective credits, work experience is for you!  We meet each Wednesday during lunch in room 9.

Please email me at patricia.steiner@oside.us or stop by room 9 for more information.

Hello, I’m Ms. Sacos-Francis. I’m the advisor for the Gender & Sexualities Alliance (GSA). GSA is a club whose purpose is to create a platform where students can unite for racial and gender justice. Last year we built relationships, laughed, watched movies, and discussed what was important to us. This year, I am hoping we can take field trips, (virtual, or otherwise) participate in online conferences, play games, have guest visitors, and pursue what is of interest to members. Please join us.

Contact me through email @julie.sacos-francis@oside.us or stop by room 5.  We meed each Monday from 2:15-3:15pm.
