Welcome back to the 2022 - 2023 School Year!
Oceanside Unified School District will be starting classes the 2022-2023 school year on Wednesday, August 17, 2022. Please be sure to complete the registration process before the first day of classes.
We ask that all parents/ guardians complete the following to properly register their student for the 2022-2023 school year:
- Complete On-line Data Confirmation through the Parent Portal (for returning Students (English) or (Spanish).
AERIES On-line Enrollment (AIR Enrollment) should be completed for students that are new to the Oceanside Unified School District.* - Complete the Annual Income application for all students attending OUSD schools.
- Ensure student is up to date with California state required immunizations.
(A very important booster is required for 7th grade students. Please follow-up with our site Health Clerk, by calling (760) 966-4721 or email Herlinda Ahmad, if you have concerns or questions specific to your student.) - For students new to Oceanside Unified School District please ensure a copy of the birth certificate is provided to the office.
Once the above items have been completed, the required documents will need to be sent electronically or brought to the school office to complete the registration process.
* After the Data Confirmation window closes at the end of September, all families enrolling students will be asked to complete the AERIES AIR Enrollment to register students.

6th Grade Registration & Material Distribution
6th Grade Families will be invited on campus Tuesday, August 9th to complete the registration process and collect student materials. See below for the best date/time to come to register your Falcon Scholar:
Tuesday, August 9th - 8:00am - 2:00pm
6th grade students
During the registration lab please expect the following:
- Verification of information in AERIES Data Confirmation
- Verify residential address with 2 proofs of address
- Confirm if mailing address is different
- Verify primary contact number
- Verify AERIES contacts provided are accurate
- Introduction to Health Clerk to discuss any medical concerns provided in AERIES for your student
- Speak with Health Clerk regarding specific medical conditions your child may have.
- Confirm student is up-to-date with California state required vaccines
- LifeTouch Fall Photo to obtain Student ID card
- The order form for Fall Photos will be backpacked home with students
- The order form for Fall Photos will be backpacked home with students
- Visit the ASB Falcon Student store
- Sign-up students through ASES program for Before/ After School program, held on-site and supported by the Boys & Girls Club of Oceanside
- Visit Library Media Technician, Mrs. Luft, to check-out student textbooks & chromebook with charger
- Verification of information in AERIES Data Confirmation
