  • This is my second year as an Elementary School Counselor for Oceanside Unified School District. School Counseling services are free and available to all Tk-5th grade students at Reynolds and San Luis Rey Elementary students.


    About Me:


    My name is Andrea Rodriguez, I have lived in Oceanside, CA for about 10 years and I love the beach since I am from a hot desert town in Northern Los Angeles County. I am a first generation college student and received my Bachelors of Arts in Psychology from University of California, Los Angeles (UCLA) and my Masters of Arts in Counseling from University of San Diego.

    School Counseling Focus

    Whether I am leading classroom guidance lessons, small groups, or individual counseling sessions, I focus on helping students develop their social/emotional, academic and career readiness skills. I believe every student has strengths and strive to empower students through a solution focused approach.
