Bus Garage

The Oceanside Unified School District Bus garage provides mechanical services for approximately 240 vehicles, which include school buses, school site vehicles, Child Nutrition, warehouse and  Maintenance and Operation's white fleet. These services include scheduled maintenance, school bus safety inspections, minor to major mechanical repairs, using state of the art diagnostic equipment to monitor engine performance and connectivity problems, minor body and paint repair, exhaust after-treatment system, and diesel particulate filter diagnosis and repair, and emergency road service. We have a large inventory of school bus-related parts.

OUSD participates in the mutual aid agreement with all San Diego County school districts to provide emergency assistance to any District's vehicles within our service area. Our staff includes three full-time vehicle maintenance technicians, two service workers, and one lead vehicle maintenance technician. Our vehicle maintenance team offers excellent customer service and is fully committed to serving the needs of our educational community.
