Maintenance and Operations

Maintenance & Operations is responsible for maintaining a clean and safe learning environment for our students and staff at our 22 school sites.  Along with these sites, we maintain the facilities located at our District Offices, Transportation, and Warehouse. Maintenance & Operations Department consists of:

Custodial:  Cleaning of campuses and facilities.

Grounds:  Landscaping and Pest Control

Maintenance:  Fire Alarms, Intercoms, Carpentry, Electrical, General Maintenance, HVAC, Painting, Plumbing.

All emergency and non-emergency needs are managed through a work order system.  If for any reason there is a concern regarding our facilities, please notify site administration, as work orders are submitted at the site level.  

It is our goal to service all sites expediently to ensure the best learning environment possible for our students.

Use of Facilities

Oceanside Unified School District has partnered with Facilitron to bring the Use of Facilities request and rental system to an online platform.  The only way to request use of a district facility is by creating a Facilitron account and submitting a request online.  This allows requests to be submitted at any time.

Certificates of Insurance and payments are collected directly through the Facilitron platform.  Insurance can also be purchased through Facilitron if needed.  Payment options include major credit cards, checks, ACH/eCheck, and Paypal.
