I am extremely excited and honored to be part of the team at McAuliffe Elementary School. This is my first year in administration and I am committed to working in a partnership with Dr. Willis and the whole school staff.  I wholeheartedly believe it is important to harvest our student's talents and abilities so they can grow and reach their full potential. As an educator, I embrace the Growth Mindset believing that all our students at McAuliffe Elementary can learn and am committed to this daily.

I have 25 years of educational experience and am very passionate about the work that I do. I was a teacher for 20 years and taught grades Pre-K through 8th in Texas and California and am dual licensed for both states. For the past 5 years I have been working in various campus leadership positions. I graduated with honors from National University obtaining my administrative credential and attended University of Houston, Texas where I obtained my teaching credential. I have a strong background in Literacy including being a Reading Specialist.

I am a Southern California native and grew up in the city of Corona. My family and I have had the opportunity to travel the world including Japan and be part of the military community. I have three beautiful children who are all grown up and enjoying their careers. I continue to practice the values my parents taught me about education and how it is the key to opening the doors of the world.

I look forward to working with the families and community partners of McAuliffe Elementary School.
