Kindergarten:

• Expanded day at all OUSD sites
• For students turning 5 before September 1st

Transitional Kindergarten:

• Offered at all OUSD elementary sites
• For the 2023-2024 school year: students turning 5 between September 2, 2023 and April 2, 2024
• Students will attend a minimum school day for the first three weeks of school in August to allow students to gradually transition into the school environment. The teachers will meet once with each student/family in a one-on-one meeting during the afternoon. 

State Preschool:

• Morning and afternoon classes at North Terrace and Santa Margarita Schools
• For students who are three and four years old before December 1st. 
• Income qualifications
• Registration begins in early June

Dual Language Program:

• Two Way Bilingual Immersion/Educación Bilingüe de Doble Inmersión
• Develops fluency in English and Spanish
• Available at two sites for Kindergarten
• Begins in Kindergarten
