Take the ASVAB
The Armed Service Vocational Aptitude Battery is a timed, multiple-choice test developed by the Department of Defense. ASVAB scores are traditionally used to determine if you qualify to enlist in the military and which job in the military would be appropriate for you. It can also be used for career exploration and many technical/vocational schools use the ASVAB for placement exams. Read more about what the ASVAB is and how to prepare.
The ASVAB is offered on the OHS campus once per semester. If dates don't work for you, contact one of the local recruiters (listed above) to schedule a test.
The best way to prepare is to study and practice. Here are some helpful, free resources:
-
Mometrix: Video Tutorials, Practice Tests
-
Union Test Prep: Practice Tests, Flashcards, Study Guides
