The Oceanside Unified School District welcomes donations of previously-owned but operational computer equipment when they can be used cost-effectively to serve our educational mission. OUSD schools that have the resources to make use of donated computers may accept donations that meet the following minimum standards:

Due to the amount of work required to re-configure donated computers for school use, only donations of 10 or more identical computers will be accepted. Donated computers must have only legally licensed software installed. Where available, original disks or CDs for any installed software should be included in the donation. All personal information pertaining to the donor should be removed from donated systems before delivery.
Minimum standards are updated annually to reflect changes in technology. These specifications are valid through June 30, 2010.
